William Mayer is the TEKS Resource System Specialist at Region 13. Before that, he taught 4th grade and middle school. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame (Go Irish!) with a masters in Education.

Leveraging TEKS Resource System as an Instructional Coach

Is your district one of the 90% of Texas districts that use TEKS Resource System? In this session, coaches will utilize the components of TEKS Resource System in a low-risk, straightforward manner in order to empower teachers and fellow coaches in their work with students. Furthermore, we will review the main functions of TEKS Resource System in the areas of curriculum/assessment and highlight resources that support teacher’s planning and enhance student learning.
