Supporting New Teachers: Coaching for Confidence, Clarity, and Retention

New teachers are often overwhelmed, and coaching can unintentionally add to that overload. This interactive session provides a focused, high-impact approach to coaching new teachers by prioritizing classroom management, routines, and lesson clarity. Participants will practice coaching conversations and create a 30-day support plan, leaving with practical tools that can be implemented immediately to improve teacher effectiveness and student learning.

From Compliance to Craft: Coaching Teacher Voice in HQIM

Instructional coaches often navigate the tension between fidelity to HQIM and teacher autonomy. This interactive session equips coaches with practical strategies to move beyond compliance and build teacher thinking. Participants will engage in coaching simulations, explore “tight vs. loose” decision-making, and practice coaching language that promotes ownership. Walk away with tools you can use immediately.
