About Angelica

Angelica Lopez is the Early Childhood Specialist at Education Service Center Region 13, bringing over 20 years of experience across public and private early learning settings as a teacher, mentor, coach, and program support specialist. Holding a Master’s in Early Childhood Leadership and Advocacy, dual certification in General and Special Education, and a Texas Childcare Administrator certification, her work is rooted in a strong commitment to high-quality learning experiences for all children beginning with our youngest learners.

Coaching and Supporting Pre-K Teachers in Implementing TEKS Resource System

This session equips instructional coaches and administrators with strategies to support Pre-K teachers in implementing the NEW TEKS Resource System Pre-K offering. Participants will apply key components of the Balanced Coaching Framework to early childhood education. Through discussions and real-world coaching scenarios, attendees will gain practical tools to build teacher capacity and enhance Pre-K instruction using TEKS Resource System—even without prior Pre-K experience.
