About Meg

Meg is a K-3 Early Literacy Specialist for Austin ISD. She has a master’s degree from Teachers College, Columbia University and a variety of classroom experience in grades 1-5. She loves to share the magic of reading and writing with students and teachers.

Texas Two Step Your Way into Collaborative Coaching

This session will focus on fostering collaboration among district-level coaches and various departments to provide support for coaches and teachers in terms of content knowledge and best practices. We will explore how an early literacy coach collaborates with a multilingual department specialist to effectively support district initiatives across diverse campuses. This session highlights the positive impact of such collaborations and provides insights that can be applied in similar contexts.
